Thornbury is well known as a high traffic residential and commercial area and maintenance of tree is essential for safety. Older trees can have lots of deadwood, which can lead to limb failure, so it’s important to stay on top of these with a proper pruning program.

Common signs you need to prune your tree:

Structural Issues

Larger trees such as Yellow Box and Manna Gum can have structural issues that can cause damage, so it’s important to have larger trees inspected and pruned to improve safety.

Over-extended branches

Weight reduction pruning will reduce the risk of large limbs from failing and causing damage to your property.

How we complete tree pruning work

As trained arborists, we access the trees using harnesses and ropes to minimise the disruption to your property and garden. We have years of experience in moving around safely within the canopy of the tree to reach the target branches for removal and trimming.

Unlike tree loppers, we complete clear and intentional cuts with chainsaws to ensure the tree can recover from the wound created by the limb removal. If cut in a certain way, the trunk of the tree will simply heal over and the tree will thrive.

We complete many tree pruning jobs in Thornbury jobs due to the high number of properties with large spaces and numerous gum trees. If you have a concerns about a tree on your property, get in touch with Paz today for a free quote. We’ll visually assess the problem tree and give you the best option to retain it through proper pruning techniques.

When you book a job with Heartwood Tree Care, the person doing the quote also completes the work, so nothing will be lost in translation between the quoted and completed work.
